What he said is true. Women do great in careers where you can find your own time to finish the job. These careers include areas in art, research, etc. But in careers where there are strict timings, they tend to not do well. The reason for this isn't sexism, since women are more likely to get jobs from an interview than men. It's because women are more likely to do household chores. Plus they get pregnant. Men are also more likely to ask for pay raises, promotion, etc.
It's a proven and obvious fact. Women and men have different biology, and this will affect their careers.
Even if the engineer says something vulgar or incorrect, he should not be fired. He has his right to speech, and just because he isn't informed doesn't mean he should be punished.
